Reese Witherspoon turns 34, bows new lover

[HMG] – Most folks just get gifts for their birthday, but ‘Legally Blonde’ star, Reese Witherspoon, celebrated her 34th day on Sunday with a shiny new boyfriend to replace Jake Gyllenhaal. And she didn’t have to go far to meet him;

The man in question, Jim Toth, 39, works at the Hollywood talent brokerage, ‘Creative Artists Agency,’ among whose clients is Ms. Witherspoon herself – Although we’re assured she’s not on Jim’s books.

The pair made their connected debut in Ojai, CA on Saturday, and were promptly surrounded by hundreds of close friends from the world’s paparazzi as they strolled hand-in-hand round some of the area’s wonderful stores.

“They started as friends and it developed into more,” a source tells Us Weekly.

Spies say the ‘friends’ have been dating since early January — Which is pretty quick work, considering Reese only broke up with Jake in December. And she met him a full year before the end of her 9-year marriage to Ryan Phillippe.

Methinks Ms. Witherspoon is either a hopeless romantic, or…er, not one.

But this time it sounds like Reese might make this work;

“It’s hot and heavy,” the source confirms, adding that Jim’s already met Reese’s children from the marriage to Ryan, Ava, aged 10, and Deacon, who’s 6.

And a friend of Jim’s backs this up; “They’ve been on some dates and she’s been to his house,” says the male pal. “Jim’s a real charmer.”
