“Pirates” Movie casting call – fake boobs need not apply

(HMG) – “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” sent out a casting call last week seeking “beautiful female fit models”, with specific height, age requirements along with ‘natural treasure chests’.  Yes in a move that could eliminate half of Hollywood’s aspiring young actresses, Disney is  requesting that only women with natural breasts apply for a role in the latest installment of their ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise. The New York Post is reporting that Disney will even ask actresses to jog in front of casting directors to prove that their breasts are real.  The fourth installment of Pirates will be directed by Rob Marshall and returning star Johnny Depp as the drunken buccaneer Jack Sparrow.  But Keira Knightley who is not well endowed is not  returning and “in the last movie, there were enhanced breasts to give that 18th-century whorish look, and men were pretty well padded too, and no one worried,” a former casting agent said. “But times are changing, and the audience can spot false breasts.” Penelope Cruz who replaces Knightley as Sparrow’s love interest seems to have the natural bounce the studio is looking for. The rest of the female cast will have to follow suit.
