Brooke Burke joins Tom Bergeron as Dancing With The Stars co-host

Brooke Burke(HMG) -  ABC’s “Good Morning America,” announced that former champ Brooke Burke, will follow Samantha Harris as co-host on “Dancing With the Stars. As a contestant, Burke won during the season that ended in November 2008. The mother of four children has previously hosted TV shows including CBS’ “Rock Star” and E!’s “Wild On.”   Other names previously mentioned as likely replacements for Samantha included another former contestant Melissa Rycroft, who helped Tom Bergeron announce this year’s contestants during the finale of “The Bachelor.” TV personality Vanessa Minnillo, and former American Idol Judge Paula Abdul was a third possibility.   Dancing With The Stars kicks off its 10th season on Monday, March 22, on ABC.  It should be an interesting season with celebrity contestants Pamela Anderson, Kate Gosselin, Evan Lysacek, Jake Pavelka, Erin Andrews, Nicole Scherzinger, Buzz Aldrin, Chad Ochocinco and actors Shannen Doherty, Aiden Turner and Niecy Nash.
