Lindsay Lohan claims it’s Sam Ronson or guys
[HMG] – With her film, fashion and singing careers now on life-support, Lindsay Lohan is now indulging in tell-all interviews to try and regain the spotlight she’s never deserved.
British tabloid, The Sun is paying the 23-year old former Disney star an undisclosed but doubtlessly ridiculous sum to share her dirty laundry in public – again – and the latest discussion covers Lindsay’s indulgence with Sam Ronson.
The pair met in October of 2007, and the next 18-months saw one of the most high-profile, press-focused, deliberately tempestuous connections in the history of fakes. And now LiLo claims she wants Sam back for more.
“I never really thought about women before, it just kind of happened with Sam. We live in the same building and see each other often. She’s always been one of my best friends.”
Which therefore proves that this story was just more fame-whoring hype.
“If I wasn’t with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next,” the faded actress continues. “She’s the only woman I’ve been attracted to. We might reconcile the relationship…I don’t know.”
What about all their ‘fights’ she was asked? “All that was because her friends got involved and made me an outcast. I think it was a jealousy thing in terms of her becoming more famous than the rest of them.”
Ronson aside, Lohan says little about the men whose lives she has tainted; Colin Farrell is dismissed as “a long time ago,” and Calum Best was “over really quick and not worth talking about.” But when Heather Ledger, whom she was rumored to be dating when he died in January of 2006, Lindsay actually tries thinking for once;
“That’s kind of a touchy subject. He was a really good friend to me, and it was really sad when that happened.”
As for all the free press, and thus the extended career and free cash Sam has brought her, Lindsay, of course, blames the press;
“A picture can tell a thousand words – and lies. They want the negative, the drama. They want to say, ‘Oh Lindsay’s distraught, here we go again; Should Sam leave?” she whines. “Everyone has ups and downs, but in the public eye they’re going to take the downs and make them seem a million times worse. That comes with the territory.”
Yes, and so does the obligation for sobriety, responsibility and the presence of at least one degree of definable talent.
So far, no luck on all counts…
