Guest list for first weeks of “Tonight Show” with Jay Leno out
(HMG) – After all the controversy leading to Conan O’Brien’s departure, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” will debut on March 1st, with seemingly no boycott of stars just yet. Leno will kick things off with “Valentine’s Day” actor Jamie Foxx and Olympic champ Lindsey Vonn on the couch, and country star Brad Paisley performing. Sarah Palin and Olympic champ Shaun White will join Leno on Tuesday for his second show. With the Jersey Shore cast to appear on Weds., and Matthew McConaughey and Jason Reitman set to sit down with Jay on Thursday. Other episodes in Leno’s first two weeks will feature Simon Cowell, “The Runaways” co-stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning, and Avril Lavigne. Interesting aside: Adam Lambert’s Web site says he’ll appear on March 2, the same day as Palin; but Leno’s schedule makes no mention of Lambert.

I did see a promo last night, 2/22, on the Olympics in which Lambert was pictured and the voice over said something like “this guy too” as having an upcoming appearance, no date mentioned specifically, but this was an official NBC Leno promo airing during the Olympics last night around 8:30pm-ish EST.
Thanks, Lem, maybe it’s being kept quiet? Maybe it’s a little surprise for Palin? Being a bit of a jokester Leno might like a little controversy. I loved that ‘plucking’ dialogue that Leno and Lambert did the last time he was on the show. Lambert has a bit of the spin doctor in him.
