Brooke Mueller Checks into Private Rehab Facility After Scandal

(HMG) – I don’t have much sympathy for Charlie Sheen or his wife Brooke Mueller who both seem to have carried their baggage of substance abuse into their marriage and now their young twin boys lives. If the highly publicized domestic dispute not happened would Brooke be in rehab now, who knows? But still glad to see she is no matter how hard her spokespeople have tried to pretend it wasn’t an issue.

Still it gives me pause to see what happened to Brooke. Mueller checked into rehab on February 9th for what is believed to be a crack addiction. She didn’t stay there for long,  as a breach of patient privacy prompted her to leave.  How does that happen?  Easy when media outlets are hanging around, trying to get the inside story.  In this case someone from the facility allegedly tried to cash in and leak Brooke’s admission form to the media, which contained very personal information about her substance abuse.  I was pleased to see the document from Brooke’s stay at rehab did not make its way onto TMZ, but the gossip game has gotten way out of hand with all the competition.  I don’t know which is worse, paying for illegal information or just the outright blatant lies tabloids are now spinning to outdo each other.  Anyway back to Brooke, she is now continuing her rehabilitation “in a private, more secure, confidential environment,” and they hope to press charges against the individual responsible for leaking the information, according to her spokesperson.
