Janet Jackson(HMG) – Okay we have heard this routine before so we’re skeptical.  Jermaine Jackson  claims Janet Jackson is on board for a Jackson Five reunion, reportedly finally succumbing to the idea as a tribute to the King of Pop, who died last June. Jermaine claims the youngest Jackson sibling said yes. He said, “We had a conference call and Janet has agreed to join us on tour.”

“Janet will be joining us. We’re all talking about it now. She has never played with us before so that will be very special. She definitely wants to do it,” Jermaine said while completing a promotional tour of Australia. “We had a conference call and Janet has agreed to join us on tour.”

Jermaine explained the details are still be ironed out, but hinted the shows could use some of the sets Michael was planning to debut during his This Is It comeback tour. The ‘King of Pop’ was working on the performances, due to take place in London, at the time of his death. “We own that stage,” Jermaine said.

Michael’s brothers Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie have been keen to perform a series of shows for years. Since late 2007, Jermaine constantly pursued his brothers, including the late Michael Jackson when he was alive, to reform and embark on a world tour which was supposed to be kicked off two years ago. Michael, like Janet, was not amused with the idea for he was preparing his own world tour last year.  Look for a denial from Janet today, if Jermaine has over hyped again.  On the other hand maybe at this stage of her career, this could be the best opportunity for Janet to be in the spotlight?
