Charlize Theron follows Madonna, joins Kabbalah faith
[HMG] – With Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Demi Moore and Madonna already devotees, it seems Charlize Theron has joined the march to Kabbalah.
The 34-year old South African actress, who ended her nine-year connection with Irish actor, Stuart Townsend sometime around Christmas, has been seen around Los Angeles, sporting the distinctive red-twine bracelet that denotes a disciple of the mystical, Judaism-based faith.
‘Charlize is wearing the thickest red bracelet, which helps ward off bad will,’ a source tells the Mail. “Kabbalah is not just a religious interest for her – she also views it as a means to more of a social life and mixing with the Hollywood elite.”
Rather less charitable observers suggest the real draw for Charlize is the idea that becoming a follower will place her in the orbit of those ‘elite’ fans, which might help reboot her career.
In other news, since breaking up with ‘Night Stalker’s Mr. Townsend, 37, [seen here] Charlize has also been making tongues wag by dining with no less than Quentin Tarantino. Whether there’s any meat to this story it’s too early to tell, but if Charlize takes it further with Quentin you can count on discovering it here…

I love Charlize Theron and I think she should do whatever makes her happy.
The Kabbalah and Quentin thing have both already been shot down as tabloid garbage. Charlize dined with Quentin… and a whole group of people at a dinner party and her reps squashed the Kabbalah rumor.
Please..Victoria Beckham has NEVER been into Kabbalah or whatsoever! If you are saying she is a devotee because of her jewish tattoo, than you are waayyyy WRONG!! She is still a Christian, and those jewish tattoo on her body is just that – a tattoo, nothing more! Furthermore, David has jewish tattoo too and his ancestors are jewish. But they are all still Christians – they even got all their children baptised in the Christian’s churches. So please…stop including Victoria’s name JUST TO MAKE THAT THING HIP..coz Kabbalah is not a hip thing at all!
That “Christian” stuff you speak of is sad, little Missy. Christianity is so over. Those sad pathetic followers can actually live happy lives now. Go on. Get going.
Su-nap!!!!! Some people are just windbags. Moon must be lonely, that’s all.
“Christianity is so over” Really? Ugh, I hate people who treat religion like a fashion trend. You should choose a religion because you seriously believe in it, not because it’s cool! The shallowness and famewhoring of this country infuriates me.
