First look at new Doors documentary narrated by Johnny Depp

(HMG) – As we revealed here, about one year ago, Johnny Depp is narrating “When You’re Strange,” a documentary about The Doors, by Law & Order Dick Wolf productions and the first preview is out.   The director  isTom DiCillo known for his work on acclaimed indies including Living in Oblivion and Box of Moonlight.  All the footage in the film was shot between 1966 and 1970, most of it never seen before, and includes the early days of Jim and Ray Manzarek in film school, concert and in-studio footage.  Strange will be in select theaters starting April 9.
