(HMG) – At the Brit Awards last night, Oasis’ “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” was named the best album of the past 30 years and Liam Gallagher accepted the award on behalf of the now defunct band.

Liam wreaking of arrogance swaggered onto the stage, and acted like a total twat during his supposed acceptance speech. First he thanked everyone but his brother Noel, saying to the crowd: “Listen kids. I want to thank Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan White. The best band in the f***ing world. Live forever.”

Then he tossed his microphone into the audience and followed that up by throwing the  trophy into the audience too, pretty much saying  F U to the award honor.  Oasis beat out nine other bands, Coldplay, Dido, Dire Straits, Duffy, Keane, Phil Collins, Sade, The Verve and Travis.

When the host, Peter Kay, was coming back on stage he could be over heard saying “what a knob-head” before the ceremony broke for a commercial.
