Charlie Sheen urged to do rehab again

[HMG] – We mentioned yesterday that ‘Two and Half Men’ star, Charlie Sheen’s lady, Brooke Mueller was now visiting rehab. But it seems Charlie may need to join her. Again.

Reports say that, after years of careful avoidance, the 44-year old actor has started drinking again. Now friends are urging Chuck to get help and do rehab himself.

He and Brooke were seen just before Christmas at a nice restaurant in Aspen, and even then Charlie had what is known as a ‘Sober Coach’ with him;

“He had a sober coach even then because he’d already fallen way off the wagon,” one source told Radar.

Then at around 8.30am on Christmas Day, Brooke called 911 and alleged Charlie threatened her with a knife. Both were known to be drunk – even at that early time. But Charlie still refused to admit that some rehab would help.

“Charlie’s CBS contract is up for renewal,” says one close compadre. “He doesn’t think he has a problem, and he’s not going into rehab. Many people believe he’s simply in denial.”

After an all-night indulgence in both alcohol and crack. Brooke has entered rehab. But even though part of that night involved Chuck – who’s been quite open about his past need for detox – he’s refusing all suggestions of a re-run.

“People close to him have urged him to enter rehab and get help,” says the source. “But it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.”

I don’t see a big problem. Once putting down too many glasses gets that new contract declined, Charlie will have plenty of free time to figure out why. Then, perhaps, he’ll get clean…
