Tiger Woods mulling comeback, but Elin Nordegren won’t play

tiger-woods[HMG] – Those who are close to the story say that Tiger Woods is already mulling a comeback – but his wife, Elin Nordegren is still refusing to return to their marital home.

“Tiger wants her to move back home with him but so far she has said no,” a close source told Radar. “She’s not ready and she just doesn’t trust him.”

Elin was last seen in public this morning, doing the school run with one of her children and chatting to a teacher for several minutes.

But despite playing her part during Tiger’s visit to the ‘Gentle Path’ sex rehab in Mississippi and putting her divorce lawyer back on his leash, she still isn’t wearing her wedding ring and will not commit to resuming her previous life.

“She’s not moping around,” one source close to the situation told Radar. “She’s building a life.”

This was proven by her next stop after school — The gym. All part, say some friends, of her new plan to be more independent.

Her husband is now linked to 14 extra-marital affairs, and Elin is still not ready to bury the hatchet. Unless it’s in him.

“Elin looks great,” says a source. “The stress caused her to lose weight about a month ago, but now she’s working out and looks better than ever.”

Tiger, meanwhile, is plotting his rise from the ashes. He was spied yesterday holding a meeting at a bungalow next to his home with reps from the Tavistock Cup, to discuss playing in their tournament in Orlando next month.

Insiders say Tavistock is seen as his way to dip a toe in the water of public appearance and see if it gets bitten off. If not, his full return to the spotlight will be at the world-famous Masters, which opens in Augusta, Georgia on April 9.

And you can bet the house all his ladies are now booking the trip to get themselves back in the spotlight…
