Report: Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren back in Orlando, Florida but living apart
(HMG) – I think this has story is likely so wanted to pass it on. Since Elin Nordegren picked up her husband Tiger Woods when he left his rehab program at Gentle Path in Hattiesburg, Mississippi they did spend some time alone, but have now returned to their homes in Orlando according to RadarOnline, but are living in separate houses. I don’t know how anyone could think that once Tiger got out of rehab that his marriage would resume without a hitch. Radar reports that while Elin called off her first instinct to divorce right away, probably after a lot of begging and money from Tiger or his people, the marriage is extremely fragile and she is still not over Tiger’s betrayal. Tiger and Elin are supposedly living in separate houses in Orlando, just miles apart, and shuttling their two children back and forth with very little personal contact for now. Whether you believe Radar or not on these details, I think the chances of these two staying married even in the short term is pretty iffy. Radar also claims by the way that Tiger will return to golf in the spring. Most predict he will be back just before his beloved Masters tournament.

Elin is not in a very strong position for divorce. The laws are not in her favor because she has committed a crime of domestic violence as a foreign national. United States courts do not like foreigners committing crimes in our country. Beating Tiger with his golf clubs requiring hospitalization and photographic evidence available. If Elin goes ahead with divorce she might be put in prison for 3 years and lose custody of her children and will not see any of Tiger Woods money. Elin only option is to work out an agreement with her husband Tiger to save their marriage.
of course she is in a strong position for divorce. pain and suffering damages alone as a result of his various infidelities (which would come out at trial and destroy forever Tiger’s chance at PR rehab) are huge. this is something he will never risk. and remember(considering the above)
1. elin has not been charged with a crime
2. she has not been convicted
she is in the driver’s seat.
Phil: Your comment is just asinine. She is married to a United States citizen and she and the children are citizens of this country. She has committed no crime for which she has been charged let alone convicted. He pressed no charges. She will not be put in jail for even a minute for what happened. She would never lose her children. Who would they award them to, him?
She is in a very strong position for a divorce and will see more money than you can only dream about in any divorce. She has a pre-nup affecting property ownership and the details of that will prevail unless she can break it for some reason. She might not be able to, but if she can, she will be fabulously wealthy. He will pay her support in all likelihood and also pay child support in numbers you cannot envision. To say her only option now is to work out an agreement with Tiger is just ludicrous. Even Tigers’ lawyers will not take the tact you are tossing out there.
You have obviously have had no legal training and are throwing out total misstatements . By the way, I am a lawyer and did domestic practice for years.
According to media reports, Tiger Woods pleaded and begged Elin Nordegren not to divorce him, making her all kind of promises. In spite of all her pain and suffering, Elin agreed to call off the divorce and to give Tiger time to prove that he is committed to change and to save their marriage. Let’s see how serious Tiger is about this. Meanwhile, it is very wise of Elin to keep going on with her life for her benefit and the benefit of her children. Life is too precious to spend it with someone that may not be worth it. Keep strong Elin, you are a true woman!
