Alec Baldwin more than a little cranky after hospital visit and blames Kim Basinger

(HMG) – So as we reported yesterday Alec Baldwin was rushed to the hospital after his daughter Ireland reportedly dialed 911 believing her father was trying to overdose.  According to the NY Daily News, Ireland’s words to the dispatcher were:

“I’m tired of this,” she quoted her dad as saying. “I’m going to take some pills. I’m going to end this.”

Baldwin told emergency personal, he took an Ambien sleeping pill and had “no intention” of committing suicide, sources said.  Baldwin, also told cops he and Ireland had been arguing over the phone and that his daughter was “put up” to dial 911 by her mom, actress Kim Basinger, sources told the NY Daily News.

Police convinced the “30 Rock” star to get checked out by doctors who released him an hour later, after deciding he was no threat to himself, sources said.

When Baldwin returned home, he found reporters on his doorstep and basically freaked out. He lunged at New York Post photographer Tim Wiencis while police and a pack of reporters looked on with amazement, before the cops quickly intervened and pulled Baldwin away as he ranted: “They are the lowest scum of the Earth. They are the lowest scum of the Earth.”

The kicker to all this is that a friend of Baldwin’s told the Daily News: “This is another example of Kim’s sickness,” . “Alec came back from the hospital and there were cameras outside his house at 2 a.m. Gee, I wonder how they found out?”

So what do you think, is Kim Basinger an evil schemer trying to make her ex miserable or is Alec a bit wacked out?
