Jon Gosselin might be cornered into letting TLC resume ‘Kate Plus 8′

(HMG) – While most rumors have speculated that Kate Gosselin was working with TLC to launch a new pilot, a new scenario has been put in play.  Not so new so much since it goes back to having Kate plus 8 back on the air sooner than later.

Last fall, Kate’s ex-husband Jon Gosselin issued TLC a cease-and-desist order to halt filming his ex-wife and their eight children during the couple’s divorce proceedings.  Jon pretty much got cleaned out in the divorce especially since TLC, responded to his cease-and-desist, and raised with a breach of contract suit filed against him for making paid appearances on other networks. The suit is not only draining his funds but is also barring him from earning additional income on the talk show circuit.

Fox411 reports:

“Jon does not have money for the intense lawyer fees and ensuing battle with the media giant and Kate has asked him to reconsider his decision for the family,” a source said. “She is willing to negotiate with him and TLC so that everyone gets what they want.”

With his back to the wall, Jon is reportedly willing to let his kids back on the show if TLC will drop its breach of contract suit filed against him for making paid appearances on other networks.  By the way I worded the title of this post the way I did because I think while Jon was mostly a total knucklehead in how he conducted himself when he split from Kate, I think regardless of his motivations, he may be right in pulling the plug on future filming  for the best interests of his children.
