Kate Gosselin authors new book describing personal journey

(HMG) – Kate Gosselin, finally gave in to the fact that she hated her seven-thousand dollar extensions and chopped them all off the other day, but not before immortalizing them on the cover of her new book. following two New York Times bestsellers “Multiple Blessings” and “Eight Little Faces,” People reports that Kate’s new book I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family, comes out on April 13th. The book features Kate’s prayers and excerpts from her journal and tracks her three year journey from obscurity to television fame. I Just Want You to Know will also include eight individual letters to her children. Kate explains:

“Each day the thought crosses my mind that when they get older, my kids are going to look back and think about how they were raised. I know they will have a lot of questions about things that may not make sense because they were raised so unconventionally. I don’t want them to grow up and wonder; I want them to know without a shadow of a doubt how much I love them and how much every sacrifice made was worth it for them.”

The now single mother of eight, got divorced from ex Jon Gosselin in December 2009.
