Jack Nicholson planning new role as bird food

[HMG] – As an actor, Jack Nicholson has had some crazy ideas, but since making ‘The Bucket List’ with Morgan Freeman back in 2007 he’s had a classic – He now wants to be eaten by birds.
At 72, the New Jersey-born Hollywood icon says he’s not really planning for death, but as he hates small spaces a coffin was not his first choice as an ending.
But the ‘Sky Burials’ made popular by native Americans have really drawn his attention as a final farewell.
“I’ve had several ideas,” Jack told German TV. “Once I thought it would be nice to be buried under a large statue that is at least 10-meters high. Then I liked the nature of the Indians, who haul their bodies up into the trees so they’re eaten by birds.”
And even though he’s been mulling his eventual end, Jack says he’s not scared of death and feels his very successful, high-profile life has allowed him to enjoy everything he’s ever wanted to do.
“I remember a wonderful conversation I once had with Sir John Gielgud,” Jack tells M&C. “He said he’d made a schedule with things he’d like to do before he died – Travel the world, learn how to cook.., but he found that nothing was as appealing as acting. I agreed with him.”
Native Americans created sky burials because they believed the souls of those who have died linger in the air, protecting their tribe until it’s time to move on. This gave rise to the theory that by raising the bodies into the trees, or onto a mountain the departed could move on to heaven much sooner.
Jack doesn’t have a movie due for release, so this isn’t just press-seeking hype. He sounds like he means it. So what’s your opinion – should Jack be a postmortem Piñata?…
