John Mayer and Taylor Swift sharing suite love?

[HMG] – If Taylor Swift gets any more hype from her label to build her career she’ll be bigger than Britney Spears — and twice as annoying. But her link with John Mayer is also proving quite helpful;

We’ve already reported on how the pair were spied on a date on January 6 and seemed rather cozy. But now In Touch says they also found time for a meeting on January 24 in Nashville.

The pair were seen together several times, but the best report concerns their behavior in a recording studio;

“She was sitting on John’s lap, her arms were around him, and she was talking in his ear,” says one source. “They were acting like teenagers.”

That’s so sweet I may need to floss. But there’s more.

Later that night, John, 32, and 20-year old Taylor shared a table at a restaurant that prides itself on being ‘the home of casual southern comfort cuisine.’ Nashville’s popular eatery, ‘Cabana’ on Belcourt Avenue. They were briefly joined by some friends, but the pair soon left together for another location.

They emerged at the $1200-a night ‘Hermitage Hotel,’ on 6th Avenue. The two lovers tried to sneak in through the loading dock to avoid being spotted — but as you can see that worked out real well. Hotel staff escorted them to John’s suite, and although both singers reps are in full denial on what may have occurred an insider knows better;

“Taylor spent the night and enjoyed mid-morning room service before leaving his suite the next day,” we are told.

Cynics are saying that, while Taylor is clearly in love, John may be playing some familiar games — Using a naive, upcoming starlet to revive his own faded career. This theory seems to gain ground if you consider John’s reply when a friend asked how their evening went. With a bragging laugh he is said to have made this response;

“How do you think it went?”
