Ozzy Osbourne wants Johnny Depp to headline new movie

The 61-year old rocker recently released his autobiography, ‘I Am Ozzy,’ – a relaxed 416 page ramble through his five-decade career. And now the man known to his fans as ‘The Prince of Darkness’ is planning to make it a movie.

“People are working on scripts right now,” an enthusiastic Ozzy tells the Post.

And who, Oz was asked, would he choose to take the lead role and star as himself?

“I’ve thought about Johnny Depp,” says the English-born rocker. “He’s one of the few actors who knows about rock ‘n’ roll, and does a really good English accent.”

Let’s get one thing straightened – This endearing musician was born ‘John Michael Osbourne’ on December 3, 1948 in Aston, a suburb of Birmingham – about 125-miles north of London. Whatever noise may emerge from the mouths of those who endure the misfortune to be born in that area does not have a ‘good English accent.’
