Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller in Rehab for drugs

After a laughable story about being at a ‘spa,’ the true location of Charlie Sheen’s wife, Brooke Mueller has now been exposed — She’s in rehab for boozing and drugs.

Her alleged friends hatched a scheme to put her in a California-based rehab, such as Promises. But they were scared the news might leak out, so instead they flew Brooke — who was discharged from a hospital only last week after enduring pneumonia – all the way to North Carolina to keep it all secret.

As you can see, that worked out real well.

Friends have told Radar that Brooke has been out of control for months, abusing both drink and drugs. Then the pneumonia descended and put her in hospital.

Where those same ‘friends’ promptly brought her more drugs.

It’s known Brooke was drunk the night before the alleged assault by Charlie, and was using drugs. She was even still drinking when she called 911. Charlie [who has already done rehab twice,] is also said to have started drinking again.

Her mother, her doctors and several friends have admitted Brooke was a wreck by the time she reached Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles last week. Her mother is reportedly ‘worried sick’ about Brooke and wanted her to get help immediately, according to insiders.

And as soon as she checked into Cedars, those ‘friends’ tried to bring her more crack.

“After her friends tried to bring her drugs in the hospital we felt we had to get her out of L.A.,” said a source. “And she didn’t put up a fight.”

But being in rehab causes a snag — That’s a long process, and both Brooke and Charlie are due in court in Aspen in less than two weeks to deal with the charge he attacked her at Christmas.

Something tells me this story is a long way from over…
