Natalie Portman lands balletic lover

[HMG] – In news that had unfortunate echoes of Jennifer Aniston’s favorite way to hype every movie, it’s now being reported that Natalie Portman’s new love – whom she found on the set – has become her new guy.

We reported before on how the 28-year old Israeli-born actress was smitten by Benjamin Millepied, a professional dancer for the NYC Ballet, who works as the choreographer for her new movie, ‘Black Swan.’

“They’d been dating since the fall, but she told friends she hasn’t gone public because she was waiting to see if things got serious,” a source tells Page Six.

Male ballet dancers have an unjust reputation which does not apply in Ben’s case — and that also caused problems;

“The real reason she was quiet about things is Ben had a live-in girlfriend for three years,” says the insider. “She’s a ballerina and they’d been talking about marrying. She was blind-sided by the split and moved out right after New Year’s.”

Research has uncovered the girlfriend as Isabella Boylston, a highly successful and widely admired 22-year old dancer with the American Ballet Theater.

When asked for confirmation or background, Natalie’s reps were brusque to the point of declaring a fatwa;

“We have no comment about her personal life,” was all they would give the reporters.

Meanwhile, Natalie seems to be [almost] enjoying the chance to revisit a clearly well-loved childhood indulgence;

“I’m in full ballet mode right now,” she told the press. “I danced until I was about 13, but I definitely remember being better than I am. I thought, ‘Wow, I was pretty good as a kid.’…Then I went into ballet class and it was more like, ‘I really suck.’ So it’s been challenging.”
