Twilight star, Kristen Stewart sees double at Sundance

[HMG] – Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart is now enduring her fifth trip to Utah’s Sundance Film Festival…But this time there’s no Robert Pattinson, so she’s here in broad daylight.

The 19-year old is bowing not one, but two new movies: ‘The Runaways,’ where she recreates 70′s rock-idol, Joan Jett, and ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ in which she co-stars with former Soprano, James Gandolfini.

And as Joan, Kristen sets another record — She enjoys a short, sexy smooch with Dakota Fanning.

At the premiere Kristen did what her contract required — She walked the red carpet, getting caught in a positive white-out of flashguns. But once the broo-ha died down, the 19-year old inside was still knee-deep in awe.

“The coolest thing about Sundance is seeing the people with whom you made the movies,” she gushed at an MTV scribe. “Everyone on ‘The Runaways’ became really close. Dakota and I are, and I love that she can see ‘Rileys’ with me.”

While ‘The Runaways’ is a coming-of-age pic about ‘Joan Jett and the Runaways,’ the first all-female band to break into the male-dominated stadium-rock circuit, ‘The Rileys’ is a whole different story: Kristen is ‘Mallory,’ a stripper who meets a lonely widower [Gandolfini] at her club, and their curious connection gets closer from there.

Already being showered in praise for her deft performance, Kristen still finds it hard to discuss the role — Even a year after the shoot was completed. “It doesn’t even feel like a movie,” she explained, saying it’s still hard to separate ‘Mallory’ from her own day-to-day life.

But she also finds time to complain about how ‘Twilight’s success has robbed her of the simpler pleasures in a superstar’s life.

“I can’t walk up and down Main Street, and that’s where you see everybody and what’s going on,” Stewart whines, pausing momentarily to dab at her eyes; “Whoa, I was going to start crying.”

…Clearly the fee was too small.
