Two and a Half Men’s Jon Cryer: My Wife Hired a Hitman to Rub Me Out

(HMG)– Jon Cryer, co-star of the popular CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” starring Charlie Sheen, says that his ex-wife hired a hitman to rub him out. In a fantasy sitcom plot meets real life scenario, Cryer alerted the authorities that his life was in imminent danger. And FBI Men in Black types jumped on the case and appeared on the set of “Two and a Half Men” last Friday. Cryer, who plays Charlie Sheen’s hapless, divorced dad brother on the show, has been involved in a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife.

According to TMZ, the FBI has been on the lookout for a hitman with a contract on Cryer’s life in his pocket, since last Friday. The FBI would not comment on the investigation. But Friday’s show will be taped without an audience, supposedly for creative and not security reasons.

Cryer said that since the FBI has been shadowing him, he feels safer now and that the threat on his life is no longer a worry.

Cryer’s ex-wife told TMZ that she knows nothing about hiring a hitman to kill her former husband.
