Johnny Depp Returns For Fourth Pirates Movie – Tops GQ’s 25 Most Stylish Men in 2010

(HMG) – While a bare-chested Johnny Depp appears on the cover of the February issue of GQ (photo by Patrick DeMarchelier), it seems we will be seeing him soon in a familiar role.  The fourth installment of Disney’s popular ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series will be filmed in Hawaii, the state governor announced on Tuesday.  Depp will return to his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which will begin shooting this summer on Oahu and Kauai and be released in 2011.

It’s not the first time the Pirates franchise has visited Hawaii – Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End was partly shot on Maui and Molokai. The announcement was made by Governor Linda Lingle on Tuesday who recently met with Disney president and chief executive Bob Iger. Making the location announcement, Lingle also revealed Nine moviemaker Rob Marshall will direct the film with Jerry Bruckheimer as producer.

As for Depp’s GQ cover appearance, he tops the magazine’s list of the 25 most stylish men in the world. This isn’t the first accolade Depp has received lately. He just picked up the award for Favorite Movie Actor Of The Decade award at the People’s Choice Awards a couple weeks ago and was named People’s Sexiest Man of 2009. In addition to Depp, other famous stars are also making the GQ list include Brad Pitt, Robert Pattinson, Jude Law, David Beckham, Ed Westwick, Jay-Z, LeBron James and Tom Brady.
