Susan Boyle denied Brit award to hurt Simon Cowell?
Her voice stunned the Brits, she took the US by storm and Lady Gaga [a big fan!] had planned a duet at next month’s Brit awards – But Susan Boyle is in for a shock.
Reputable British newspaper, the Daily Mail reports that Susan will be coldly and cruelly ignored by the ‘Brit Award’s judges when the nominees are announced in London tonight.
And their motive is said to be to insult and upset Susan’s overall mentor and singing Svengali, Simon Cowell.
“She’s not even shortlisted for ‘Best Female,’ even though that’s their weakest category,” says one source. “And it’s not just an attack on Susan. It also shows how Simon is regarded by most in the business.”
Chosen by over 1,000 record industry and media professionals, the nominees for this prestigious award will be announced at London’s ‘O2 Arena’ later tonight. The winners will then be revealed at a huge, high-octane bash at Earls Court Arena on February 16 — where both Lady Gaga and Simon’s favorite Brit sidekick, Cheryl Cole are booked to perform.
But not Susan.
“The problem for those in charge is ‘The Brits’ are supposed to be a celebration of British music…and cool. And whatever anyone thinks of Susan, she certainly is not ‘cool.’” a source tells the scribes.
With recent events such as an expletive-sprinkled tirade at a Scottish cafe after an assistant told her she needed to diet, plus reports of curious duets with floor-mops in airports, you can see how the suits could have…’issues.’
But such stories are regarded by those close to the 48-year old singer as merely signs of the stress she’s endured from her rapid success. Friends say she’s often complained of being ‘pulled in different directions’ by her management.
“It’s no wonder Susan’s a bit frazzled – it’s all a bit too much to take in,” says an insider.
Ms. Boyle, however, seems to be coping quite well…so far;
‘It’s pretty awesome to be recognized in the street and asked for autographs,” she recently told the British press. “It takes a bit of time because it happened so quick, but I’m enjoying every second of it. It’s like a dream come true.’
So what do you think of Sue being shunned? Does she deserve an award, or is this snub a fair comment?…
Susan is snubbed because she is not like other artists. Reality is, that many artists have to sign some sort of pact with the devil to be famous stars, etc. They have to go along with the illuminati ocultic agenda. Simon is snubbed because he ‘broke’ the illuminati rules and made Susan a recording artist.
She’s being snubbed partially to hurt Cowell, but some of his other finds have been nominated.
Mostly she’s being snubbed because it seems that for some unknown reason, people just enjoy hurting Susan Boyle. They enjoy it.
She never hurt a soul, has an amazing talent, and just wanted to sing.
This certainly puts the Brit awards in a very bad light.
I used to have a great admiration for the English people and their heritage beginning with King Arthur and the Age of Chivalry where women and their honor were PROTECTED and cherished!! But, after reading your mixed TABLOID with its falsehoods and lies/Newspapers offering fully verified HARD, TRUE news appearing under the same mast-heads, I am totally disgusted and embarrassed by the SIZEABLE proportion of the populace who placed lend the most improbable credence on these un-verified reporting. And when there is an uproar over the eating of a MARS CHOCOLATE BAR or even spending a few days in a hospital for simple EXHAUSTION, LACK OF SLEEP AND EATING PROPERLY when constantly hounded and, yes, tormented/baited by the news papparazzi while your phone rings constantly and PREPARING FOR APPEARANCES BEFORE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE…it is to be expected and wholeheartedly understood—not treated as a social pariah or leper!!! A BIG, LOUD—-SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on the English who are not supportive and protective of a solitary, innocent, previously lonely, 48 year old ‘wee wifey’ who is devoutly religous (I am a non-Christian and not particularly religious) previously impoverished and living in the most humble of circumstances and who was the target of continual, childhood BULLYING which continues today in the form of POMPOUS MUSIC ELITISTS AND SNOBS and who cared for 90-yr old mum till her demise. She does neither DRUGS NOR ALCOHOL. She is now a multi- millionaire and beloved INTERNATIONAL STAR solely due to her own courage, persistence and hard work with vital (and certainly heart-warming to his everlasting credit) assistance by SIMON COWELL. A great and, yes, SURPRISING NUMBER of the ENGLISH PUBLIC only wished ill will or disasters for her…for what crime, sin, transgression—I am totally bewildered!!!!
As to COVERS, Sir John Gielgud’s Shakespearan roles are COVERS/versions performed in-numerable times before. MY FAIR LADY and its characters are COVERS of SHAW’ PYGMALION. The greatest electric guitar, rock performance was JIMMY HENDRIX’s COVER of the Star-Spangled Banner. Susan’s COVERS completely transform the old songs into something ‘new, novel and often totally expected’ imbued with a heart-wrenching humanity that was oft-times missing in the original. If you would not deny Sir John Gielgud/My Fair Lady/musical Les Miz (cover of HUGO’s classic novel) their nominations, why deny SUSAN who has been the WORLD’S No. 1 selling artist for 7 weeks and still counting !!!!! What other English Artist could lay a better claim for consideration?
If the ENGLISH don’t want SUSAN, the U.S. will gladly welcome her with open arms, love and respect!!!! And, if any trolls appear, we know how to deal with them properly
