Jon Gosselin in boozy bromance with Kate’s estranged brother

[HMG] – With the Hailey Glassman blame-game fiasco now seemingly over, Jon Gosselin appears to be starting the new year with a new outlook on life;

The 33-year divorcee is reported to have spent Friday night savoring some beers with his estranged-wife’s own brother, Kevin Kreider.

First, the pair downed a few beers at the well-known Pennsylvania restaurant ‘T.J. Rockwell’s, then moved onto ‘The Watering Trough,’ then to Bube’s (pronounced ‘Boobs’) Brewery, and then came to rest at the ‘Iron Hill’ brewery in Lancaster – where they not only made a few more beers extinct but also got cozy with some ladies who were there at the time.

And Jon’s new squeeze, Morgan Christie was nowhere in sight.

But it sounds like Jon’s picked the right drinking pal — Kevin is not a big fan of  his sister; He was seen at her home in October, but Kate says they’ve been estranged since he began talking to the media about her.

Last year, for example, Kevin told Radar that she and Jon were just using the divorce and the children to gain extra ratings;

“”We’re just heartbroken and sad about the announcement,” he said when the split was announced. “It could be life-shattering to a child, and it was used to gain ratings – without any regard for my nieces and nephews.”

Jon replied by attacking Kevin in a taped interview, making it clear Kevin had no clue what he was talking about and wasn’t even part of their lives. But Kevin’s wife, Jodi then rushed to her husband’s defense;

“This is family,” she explained. “We lived a life with Jon and Kate for years and have grown really close to each of the kids, and to know this is all being viewed by millions and used for ratings…It’s horrible….horrible!”

If she thinks that’s bad, she should try watching the show ??
