Story about Van Morrison being a dad at age 64 a fake
(HMG) – The problem with trusting news off a person’s website is that they might get hacked. 
‘Brown Eyed Girl’ singer Van Morrison was reported to have become a father again at the age of 64. The hitmaker whose real name is George Ivan Morrison, and partner GiGi Lee were supposed to have a new son George Ivan Morrison III born on the 28th of December.
Morrison supposedly wrote on his website:
“‘Gigi (Lee) and Van Morrison are proud to announce the birth of their first born son, George Ivan Morrison III.
‘Little Van, born Dec 28, 2009 — the spitting image of his daddy. He is a dual citizen of Northern Ireland/United Kingdom and the United States.’
But Morrison told an Irish radio station that his official Web site had been hacked and that the statement posted on the site reporting that he had fathered a child with his manager was “utterly without foundation.”
In a statement to RTÉ’s News at One on Thursday, Morrison, 64, said he has asked his management team to conduct an “immediate investigation” into the most recent attack, which occurred on Tuesday.
