Tyra Banks finally shutters her plummeting show

tyra banks show[HMG] – In a decision that’s caused a sigh of relief which resembles a mid-western tornado, Warner Brothers has announced that Tyra Banks’ tired [and tiresome] talk show will finally end in the Spring.

Since its premiere on September 12, 2005, the show has won two Daytime Emmy’s, but very few fans among her peers on TV. Initially a platform for her personal views, Tyra then tried to make it a bad copy of ‘Maury.’ The ratings collapsed, and that killed the show.

Tyra, of course, doesn’t see it that way. Her press release about the demise is a Masterclass lesson in self-serving spin;

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” says the release printed by People. “My next step will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” she opines.

That ‘next step’ is the launch of ‘Bankable Studios,’ a film company based in New York which Tyra claims will bring “positive images of women to the big screen.” With advice from her friend, Oprah Winfrey sources say Banks will attempt the typically arrogant goal of, “redefining beauty for women in film.”

“Tyra is sad because she’ll be missing the daily connection to her viewers, but excited to be taking on this new challenge,” says a brown-nosing friend.

But fashionistas, fret not – America’s Next Top Model is still booked to return in six weeks for season fifteen, thus driving thousands more women to the brink of starvation in a misguided effort to look like its stars.

And in an open letter now displayed on her blog, Tyra proves it could be years before she runs out of ego and leaves us in peace;

“There’s a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire in my heart,” she writes. “And I salute you, my amazing family of viewers; Without you there never would have been a Tyra Show.”

So there we have proof — Her show just got canned, but its birth was our fault??
