Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole of ‘The Hills’ call it quits
[HMG] – In further proof that MTV’s ‘reality’ insult, ‘The Hills’ kills relationships almost as swiftly as brain cells, Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole are now reportedly toast.
The couple connected during the fourth mind-numbing season, about 15-months ago. But on Friday Nicole leaked the news of a split to her fan-base on Twitter;
“‘Sometimes when you truly love someone, you have to let them go…I never really understood that quote until now.”
The night before, however, the former Playboy bunny was not so downbeat. Us magazine reports that Nicole “celebrated her breakup” with no less than a dozen girlfriends at the ‘Hyde Lounge’ in West Hollywood. The party continued on Saturday, when the ex-model hosted a boozy bash at Chicago’s ‘Manor’ nightclub. And sources say she was gladly telling everyone she and Brody were over;
“She made it sound like it was all his doing, saying things like, ‘He needed time to ‘find himself.’” a well-placed reveler told the scribes. “But she didn’t seem bothered at all. She spent the entire night downing Jagermeister beers and flirting with all the guys.”
And her tweets back this up; “Rocking out at the Manor!” she wrote at 1.30am. “Jager time!”
Meanwhile, Brody’s friends say he’s ‘gone to Australia for some soul-searching.’ And Brody himself was soon tweeting to let people know he’s alive;
“I decided to stay in Australia — by myself!! Ha-ha-ha…this is crazy! Might just stay here and start a new life.”
But the oncoming split was all too easy to see – On the mercifully just-ended fifth season of MTV’s risible sideshow, Nicole and Brody argued about his connection with ex-girlfriend, Kristin Cavallari. Nicole also told Kristin to leave, but there was no chance of that.
All three are now signed on to shoot season six, which means MTV will have plenty more chances to insult all six viewers with cheap hype like this…
I was with Jayde Nicole and a bunch of her playmate friends the other night at Katsuya and overheard the real reason her and Brody broke up. We were all trying to ask her about it but she looked like she was still pretty upset about it and she kept saying she didnt want to talk about it. Later on after a couple of drinks I heard her talking to her playmate friend Brittany and she was saying how much she loved brody and how she did everything she could to make their relationship work, but that the drama that the Hills created and his constant travelling and all night partying started to wear her down. I heard her say that after their trip to Hawaii (where she looked after him the whole time cause he was sick) Brody left to work in Australia. Jayde heard that Brody was partying all night with a bunch of girls and people sent her pics and messages about Brody cheating on her (in australia and london and even in LA!) to her myspace and twitter. One girl even sent her text messages and call logs of her and Brody talking to each other behind Jaydes back.Then Jayde said she confronted Brody while he was in Australia and he got really mad and broke up with her by a text message (NO KIDDING!!). she said she couldnt believe that he could do that to her and that she thought he was the one and then she locked herself up and cried for days. After another shot she told Brittany that she was afraid that the Hills people are gonna make up a bunch of crap about the breakup now because she quit the Hills.
