Barbara Walters and Frank Langhella…an item?

[HMG] – Having made quite a name for herself by muzzling Adam Lambert on her ABC show, documentary doyenne Barbara Walters is now making some news of of her own — She’s apparently got a new love.

Already married three times, the 80-year old, who was the first woman in US TV history to earn $1-million a year, is now getting cozy with ‘Frost-Nixon’ headliner Frank Langhella – who’s a mere 76.

The couple were spied together at the ‘Literary Lions’ dinner at New York’s Public Library last week. And Page Six says they were also an item last weekend at the Kennedy Center Honors. But Babs is busily trying to squash all the rumors;

“Frank and I have been friends for many years, and will continue to be friends for many years; But it’s not a romance.”

Yeah, Babs, sure — we believe you….Well, maybe.

Assuming they realize it is a romance, Frank would gain quite a record; His last close connection was no less than Whoopi Goldberg – Barbara’s co-host on that simmering cauldron of barely-suppressed estrogen ABC calls, ‘The View.’
