About Survivor Samoa Final Last Night
(HMG) – Well I waited till this morning hoping to gain some perspective from last nights debacle.  Most will call him ‘villain’ but i will call Russell Hantz the ‘puppet master’, who should have unanimously won, after beating Brett Clouser in the show’s final immunity challenge. However Natalie White was the surprise winner of Survivor Samoa, as the jury of mostly fools and idiots couldn’t put their hurt feelings aside to vote for the man who dominated the show. Nothing against Natalie or Mick who seemed to be great people but this is a game, and they really never did anything to distinguish themselves in any way. And even though Russell lied and was smug and arrogant as could be, he pulled off one of the great Survivor upsets of all time, by getting his tribe that came into the merge way undermanned into a dominant position. I have to say this was one of the dumbest overall groups that ever played survivor. Russell’s tribe totally let him make all the moves and never turned on him. And why Galu, didn’t get rid of Russell when they had numbers? Well they kept having tribe members like Eric and the biggest fool ever Shambo, switching sides. And that’s the crux of the problem, the jury mostly consisted of folks from Galu who compounded their own stupidity playing the game, by making the worst decision in the history of Survivor. Well congratulations anyway Russell, I cheered against you for weeks, but near the end I hoped you would win. You clearly deserved it. More on the next Survivor in a quick post coming in a few minutes.
That season was clearly ruined by the stupid outcome at the end, Natalie did not deserve that title. Russell should have won that game hands down!
Sorry, you are both making the same mistake Russell made. The Jury is the final challenge. They are there to judge who deserves to win. That is not just determined by who is the most out front and (seemingly) dominant player. They also judge how a person played. The single biggest move was to get Foa Foa to turn on one of their own first. That was all Natalie, without hat nothing else Russell tried to do would have meant anything. Alligning with Russell while making him appear to be the bad guy was the smartest strategy of all. Russell just didn’t understand the social aspect and he still doesn’t. You cannot lie cheat steal and sabatage people and then expect them to say, “Ah he was just playing the game.” especially when there are others playing the game and getting just as far by not being that way. Russell may have been the most entertaining but he did not deserve to win. The right person won. BTW, no one really believes Russell is only that way in the game. Deep down you wouldn’t trust him wioth your wallet.
