Tiger Woods planning brief spell in Rehab?
[HMG] – In an unwelcome update from the ‘Oh Jeez, not him again??’ department, unconfirmed reports are now claiming Tiger Woods is planning a solo vacation in beautiful downtown Arizona — At a sex rehab center.
Four local TV stations in the Phoenix area are all over the story, first reported by the UK’s Daily Mail. According to the London-based paper, Tiger, 33, is allegedly planning a short spell in local rehab facility known as ‘The Meadows,’ seeking treatment for ‘sexual compulsion’ and to overcome his alleged dependence on Vicodin painkillers and the sleeping pill, Ambien.
The local Fox affiliate is now backing away from its earlier, typically sensationalist claims, but Arizona’s NBC, ABC and CBS stations are continuing to mention the lead.
When asked by NBC for confirmation of their upcoming, high-profile guest, Valerie Allen, public relations officer for The Meadows told reporters, “I can neither confirm not deny any reports.”
And just in case you’re thinking a swift sojourn in rehab could save Tiger’s marriage, it’s apparently too late for that. ABC News is reporting the divorce is “100 percent on.”
So we actually have two Tiger stories today; One says he was just voted “Athlete of the Decade’ by the Associated Press,’ – which is true – while the other is best studied in proximity to a huge pinch of salt.
We’ll let you know if this claim ever flies…

Back when the “mistress count†was still at number 3, I wrote that based on the things these alleged mistresses were saying about their experiences with Tiger Woods, it was likely that he had a sex addiction problem. Now it looks like Tiger may be dealing with dual addictions – sex addiction, and addiction to 2 prescription drugs that supposedly boost the male sex drive as a side effect.
If there are medical reasons for Tiger’s behavior, that puts things in a different light. You can also find the articles on the National Infidelity Examiner page at Examiner.com
