Toby Keith in trouble with Asian advocate groups

[HMG] – Coming to you from a small and irrelevant throng whose skills at colonic witholding are the basis of legend, Toby Keith is in trouble for ‘embarrassing himself and his country.’

Despite having no visible electoral mandate a group claiming to represent the entire Asian-American sector of this wonderful country are saying Mr. Keith embarrassed both himself and America at a Nobel Peace Prize party in Norway last week by ‘stretching his eyes’ as Will Smith rapped the word “yellow.”

While doubtlessly engaged in unplatting his boxers, a spokesman for ‘The Asian-American Justice Center’ told Popeater that Toby “denigrated the Nobel Peace Prize and offended Asians and Asian-Americans by using a crude, racist hand gesture.”

Their whiny, attention-seeking complaint is based on a song entitled, ‘Rapper’s Delight,’ Will Smith was performing it a post-awards party. Toby added some mime to the lyrics, and not one soul in the crowd showed the slightest concern.

“No-one at the concert thought Toby was out of line.” confirms Toby’s rep.

Eager to gain from such mindless publicity, another group calling itself “The Media Action Network for Asians,” claims that Toby “is telling his Asian fans ‘You don’t matter – you’re not on my radar.’”

And the ‘stupid’ doesn’t end there; Toby’s now getting heat from a few clueless members of the Norwegian Parliament for his patriotic ballad, ‘Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.’

“If Keith really means what he says in his lyrics, it probably wasn’t a good decision to have him perform.” said one member.

No doubt amused by the whole situation and enjoying all the free press, Toby, however, remains unrepentant;

“If someone wants to say that one song out of 30-million albums sold and 27 No.1′s is inappropriate, then you go jump up and down about that one song.”
