Jennifer Aniston is Adam Sandler’s Pretend Wife?

(HMG) – Well Jennifer Aniston might be getting married again, on the big screen that is. The former Friends actress is in discussions to star opposite Adam Sandler in an upcoming romantic comedy, Pretend Wife, according to The Hollywood Reporter.  I wouldn’t have thought of putting these two together, if I were looking for some on screen comedic or romantic comedy chemistry, but perhaps these two opposites will surprise as both have disappointed a bit at the box office of late. And at least this might be the first time Aniston won’t be romantically linked to her leading man. Details are sketchy,  but Columbia has Sandler’s buddy Dennis Dugan (Happy Gilmore, You Don’t Mess With the Zohan). helming, with a script initially known as Holiday in Hawaii, being developed by Allan Loeb and Tim Dowling. Shooting is set for early next year and is already targeted for a Valentine’s Day 2011 release.  Jen, 40, already has a few movies in the pipeline including action comedy The Bounty with Gerard Butler, musical drama The Goree Girls and romantic comedy The Baster opposite Jason Bateman. Adam, 43, will next be seen in high school reunion comedy Grown Ups.
