Redmond O’Neal Doing Great With Drug Rehab Treatment

(HMG) – Redmond O’Neal, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, has had severe drug problems for a long time.

But, according to a judge, he is turning him life around and making a real difference in his life.

“I told you to turn it around, and it looks like you did,” Judge Michael Tynan said at O’Neal’s latest hearing.

For his part, the troubled son of the late Fawcett said that he is “feeling great”, and that he has been attending treatment and working on himself.

The aspiring actor who was arrested in April this year has a lot of incentive to get himself straightened out.  Farrah left the bulk of her estate, $4.5 million, to Redmond, but it’s rumored it’s conditional based on his recovery, and staying clean.

It’s been previously rumored that Redmond is now prepping a reality show as a ‘tribute’ to his, which will follow his battle with drugs. With filming due to start once Redmond is released from the LA County Jail, the new series will chronicle the perennial black sheep of the O’Neal clan as he struggles to kick his drug habit, “Redmond has signed the deal that was brokered for him by his dad,” a source told reporters. “Ryan will be on the show too.”

I always love stories like this. Drug addiction tears apart so many lives, and it is nice seeing someone really fighting it, and coming out on top.
