PGA wild man, John Daly is now back on course

[HMG] – While John Daly’s gift with a golf club had dazzled the world, his wild-boy image away from the course almost ruined his life. But now that’s all changed – The man is in love.
Already married four times, John met his new lady, Anna Cladakis in that peerless hive of gentle affection and meaningful bonds – a Hooters; And the stunning ex-waitress has since molded a player rightly known as ‘The Lion’ into an entirely new being who is back on his form.
“She is the most positive person I know,” Daly explained with obvious pride. “A lot of the change is Anna, but a lot is also a psychologist I’ve been seeing at home once a week.” he revealed.
Before Anna arrived John’s life was a torment of self-imposed demons – booze, gambling and endless fast-food. Since she appeared, the former PGA Rookie lost 110lbs, and is now playing at a level no-one’s seen in ten years.
But not all of that unwanted ballast was removed by the love of his lady – John chose to have lap-band surgery, and now he’s a major-league fan; “As bad as our health system is for obesity, it’s the greatest technology anyone could have,” John told the Daily Telegraph. “But it’s not affordable unless insurance can cover it.”
At an average cost of $25,000, the procedure involves placing a small metal band around the top of the stomach, thus reducing the patient’s ability to eat in excess. John’s daughter also had the work done and lost 70lbs in just a few months.
“Self-esteem gets better, especially for kids like Shynah,” he said. “I was also teased as a kid because I was fat. It’s no fun.” he told the reporters.
With the lap-band in place, bread, beer and tri-tip are no longer a threat. But what about his other big love – KFC?
“Nah, that’s pretty much gone.” John admitted. “The band does let me eat mashed potatoes, though. I love KFC’s mash!” he said with a grin.
John is now preparing to join Adam Scott and James Nitties in the first round of the PGA tour in Australia this week. Unless his new slender figure gets lost in his clubs you should easily spot him – he’ll be the one in the polka-dot shorts…
