ABC under fire for Chris Brown interview
[HMG] – Following his well-publicized smooch at the ‘American Music Awards,’ Adam Lambert stirred up a storm of free press, and the latest volunteers to add fuel to the fire are ABC, who banned Adam from Good Morning America but have now booked Chris Brown for the very same show.
“The network is giving a mixed message,” says a disgruntled fan. “That it doesn’t trust someone who shared a gay kiss, but it’s happy to welcome Chris Brown, who was convicted of felony assault,”
But a well-placed ABC insider was quick to try and fan down the flames; “Chris Brown’s interview was booked way before Adam even took to the stage,” they told DNA.
But despite such distressed protestations feminists and gay-rights activists have denounced ABC’s two-faced decision, asking why a convicted abuser is welcomed on network TV, while an innocent gay man is banned.
“Adam was not canceled over a gay kiss,” an ABC source has explained. “He showed himself to be unpredictable on live TV.”
So why is Chris still okay? “That segment is to give him a chance to respond to Rihanna’s interview.” said the source. “The possibility of him performing a song will be worked out next week.”
ABC’s Robin Roberts will be seen in the pre-taped interview with Chris that will air next week. After the chat he’s expected to perform at least one song from his new album, “Graffiti,” which is due to hit stores on December 8th.
So what’s your view, guys? Would you ban Adam or Chris?…

abc is so disgusting. i will no longer watch their network. i went to adam lambert’s gma performance in august and he gave them a classy performance and interview and they know it, he did the same on cbs after they canceled him. he is not unpredictable. he sang a sexy song on the ama’s and did a performance matching the song. period. i was not offended by him. i was offended by seeing rhianna perform with guns on stage and eminem singing lyrics that boast about 17 rapes! but violence is okay to show our children and overt sexuality by women, like janet jackson’s crotch grabs, is fine. a gay man expressing his sexuality is not fine, and yet, a man who was convicted of beating the living daylights out of his girlfriend is allowed to speak about his dreadful behavior on morning tv, when children might watch, plus will be given a chance to promote his music. what makes abc think that chris brown won’t be unpredictable and feel like slugging a female live on air? he’s proven he can do it. oh, but wait, he’s straight, so that makes all the difference. abc and disney are users of the worst kind. they used adam lambert to get the best ratings for the ama’s, promoted him all night for the outrageous performance he would do too, then had barbara walters tape an interview with him for her 10 most fascinating people show, then lowered the boom about canceling him on gma, after they had their interview all done. idiots!
I think Adam Lambert is a tremendous singer and deserves to be on the show! Chris Brown is talented and awesome as well, but the show should recognize Adam’s talent as well. Even if he kissed another dude.
the both every talent and the deserve to show the talent anytime no matter what the are.
