Justin Bieber Fever Turns Ugly!
Holly teenage hormones batman! 15-year-old Canadian teenage sensation Justin Bieber, was scheduled to appear at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island on Friday afternoon, but a crowd of nearly 3,000 mostly screaming girls, some of which had camped out overnight went beserk. Apparently some knucle head employee at Abercrombie Kids looking to fill his undoubtedly empty isles, shouted to the crowd that Justin was inside their store. That was like yelling fire in a theatre as the gaggle of young tweens started trampling all over each other to get inside the store. Bieber however never made it into the building. He told WBLI radio that police turned him away. Police arrested senior VP James A. Roppo from Bieber’s record label, Island Def Jam Records, apparently because he continued to encourage the crowd to come forward for autographs even as police attempted to disperse the crowd. Roppo could face charges including reckless endangerment, criminal nuisance, obstruction of governmental administration and endangering the welfare of children, police said. Bieber’s debut album, “My World,” was released Tuesday, after four very successful pre-album singles.
