Will Arnold Schwarzenegger resurrect his movie career?

Arnold Schwarzenegger(HMG) – While California is facing a $21 billion budget gap over the next year and a half, former movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger has announced that he’ll be stepping away from politics once his second and final term as Governor of California comes to an end at the end of next year.

The Austrian-born action star turned Republican activist, is restricted by California law from seeking a third term as governor when his tenure expires at the end of 2010, but hinted at another possible political run when he challenged America’s rules on the nationality of those who seek election as President. But now Schwarzenegger insists he won’t seek another public office once he exits the Governor’s Mansion in Sacramento.

“I have never labeled myself as a politician, so I am not going to run for anything else,” he said this week.

The big question now is will Arnold ‘be back’ to his movie career, which he for the most part suspended since becoming  governor. He has recently got his feet wet again in Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables, which also stars action heroes, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Bruce Willis and Terry Crews.
