Teen Star of Breakfast Club Anthony Michael Hall Restrained After Alleged Assault on Ex Girlfriend

(HMG) — Eighties teen star Anthony Michael Hall, best remembered for his portrayals as the lovable geek  in director-screenwriter John Hughes classics like The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, and Weird Science, has gotten into some trouble that might find him spending detention time in prison instead of after school if he isn’t careful.

Page Six reports that Hall’s ex-girlfriend, Sirius Radio host and ironically a relationship columnist for the Huffington Post, Diana Falzone, was granted a temporary restraining order against him after he went postal on her.  The two dated for a year and Hall apparently wasn’t dealing real well with their breakup.  Hall who suffers from bipolar disorder, and has had some difficulties when he doesn’t take his meds, showed up at Falzone’s New York apartment in the wee hours of the morning ranting and trying to kick down her door. When she finally let him in, Diana says Anthony slammed her head against a wall.

In Manhattan Family Court last week, a judge issued a temporary restraining order barring the 41-year-old former Brat Packer from contacting Diana.  Hall allegedly stalked her prior to the attack, so the order bars him from “assault, stalking, harassment, menacing, reckless endangerment, etc. Hall is due back in court next week.  His spokesman who wasn’t aware of the restraining order tells The Post that “all of the allegations are erroneous and will be addressed accordingly.”
