Supermodel, Adriana Lima delivers a girl

[HMG] We first brought you news of Victoria’s Secret model, Adriana Lima’s upcoming pregnancy way back in May, and now the Brazilian beauty has delivered a girl.

Adriana, 28, and her husband, Memphis Grizzlies NBA guard, Marko Janic welcomed a daughter in New York on Sunday;

“Adriana and Marko are thrilled to announce they had a baby girl, ‘Valentina Lima Jaric,” Ariana’s rep has told People. “Mother, father and baby are all doing well.”

The couple met back in 2006 and ran off to got married last Valentine’s Day in Wyoming. Soon after a brief honeymoon Adriana learned she was an upcoming mom, “We are so excited!” she told reporters at the time. “We wanted this. We were ready.”

As for Marko, 31, he was also fired up; “Even in my wildest days I wanted to be a family man,” he admits. “We’re ready to settle down.”

But this may not be the best time for babies — Marko joined the LA Clippers in 2000, got traded to Minnesota in 2005, and is now facing deselection by the Grizzlies team who are looking to buy out his contract. He’s not quite on welfare, but the man needs a job…
