Dancing with the Stars Results Show Once Again Why The Show is So Flawed

(HMG) – Tuesday nights results once again why this show is a popularity and not a dance contest.  Let’s first review. Monday night’s Dancing with the Stars, saw the four remaining pairs competed with an unprecedented three dances each for one of three spots in next week’s finale. Mya and her professional partner Dmitry Chaplin were consistently very good to excellent, in leading the pack. Joanna Krupa and her partner extraordinaire Derek Hough were very close behind. While Kelly Osbourne  and her partner Louis van Amstel were a solid third but clearly behind the front runners.  Going into Monday I thought Kelly would be the one to go leaving the three contestants I picked for the finals a few weeks ago.  But Donny Osmond and partner Kym Johnson started the night off with a disastrous tango, which earned more than it deserved at 21 points.  The night got better for Donny but he put himself in a big hole with the bad start.

Ordinarily I would say Donny had to be toast on Tuesday, but he has perhaps the biggest fan base so it may still be Kelly.  In a huge surprise though Joanna Krupa ended but being in the bottom two along with Kelly Osbourne.  Shockingly Joanna Krupa ended up going home, leaving Kelly and Donny to fight it out with Mya.  Mya is the flashiest and overall better dancer of the three by far, but given how this show works with numskull fans having so much influence, who knows there might just be a special write-in surprise vote for Cloris Leachman to win it all.
