Rosie O’Donnell admits lover left two years ago

We reported last month that Rosie O’Donnell had finally admitted she and her partner, Kelli Carpenter were drifting apart, but it now appears Rosie was being ‘economical with the truth’ — the pair actually broke up two years ago.

While presenting her Sirius satellite radio show last Friday, Rosie, 48, was discussing her new pet Chihuahua, Misty, with a visiting pet psychic.

“Where did you get her, Rosie?” asked psychic, Sonya Fitzpatrick. “Because she says she came from somewhere and she’s happier with you…She’s spoiled, and she loves to burrow,” the dog doctor gushed.

“She does burrow!” Rosie agreed. “She burrows in the bed right next to me.” And then came the big reveal, “What happened was, when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog – because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog.”

People says Rosie also shared that Misty arrived just two days after Kelli moved out, and her four children now fight over who gets to care for the long-haired love-bug.

All this is quite a change from the short-tempered statement performed through clenched teeth which we witnessed last month?

It seems a little ‘puppy love’ changes everything, huh?
