Johnny Depp Offers To Slip Nic Cage Some Cash?

I will never understand the obsession about Johnny Depp and how hot he supposedly is, as I have never been that attracted to him myself, but I like him. He’s a good actor and, it would seem, a damn good friend.

Depp has allegedly told Nicolas Cage that he wants to give him whatever he needs to pay for the huge IRS debt that he has acquired over the last several years.

Cage has been struggling to pay off a loan that was meant to cover an IRS debt that he says was due to his managers bad advice. He is suing that former manager now.

But that still leaves him with several millions in debt with the IRS, which Depp says he will help him pay for.

Nicolas Cage sold off two historic New Orleans homes in a foreclosure auction on Thursday.

The Oscar-winning actor has been selling property in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Rhode Island to pay off his $6m federal tax lien.

The French Quarter houses sold for $4.5m to Cage’s lender Regions Bank.

Cage’s next film Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans will be released later this month.

Depp is wanting to pay Cage back for helping him start his career.

Back in the 80′s, Depp was a struggling musician, and he met Cage at a dark time in his career.

Cage introduced him to his agent, Depp landed a role in ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’, and the rest is history.

If Cage agrees, Depp will give him whatever he needs to pay off the debt.
