Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter caught smoking pot?

Having maintained one of the few untarnished profiles in the current film world, Harry Potter star, Daniel Radcliffe is now facing claims that he was caught smoking weed.

The allegations, contained in the UK’s Daily Mirror claim the 20-year old actor was seen smoking a joint at a recent party in London. Pictures seen in the story show Daniel with what looks like a rolled-up cigarette in his hand, looking highly amused as a friend paints a huge, joke mustache across his top lip.

“Daniel was laughing and seemed to find it funny,” fellow guest, Wade Tazi, 26, told the scribes. “But he didn’t really look like he knew what was going on.”

The story claims Daniel lit up the ‘joint’ at the party arranged by his part-time girlfriend, actress Laura O’Toole. He then, so they claim, walked around the apartment telling friends, “I love weed.”

“Daniel looked spaced out,” says Wade. “I didn’t recognize him as he looked so different from the films. He was really friendly and talking about his dad, then he pulled out a huge joint and lit up…When my friend said who he was, I was shocked.”

But only last year Daniel made it clear he’s never been a fan of the wacky tobacco; “I’ve been around some amazing people and still kept a real childlike view of the world,” he told the press at the time. “I’m not into drugs at all.”

As you might expect, Dan’s reps are all over these claims; “We categorically deny the allegations,” says the statement from his agent’s attorneys. “Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but nothing more. We are considering our position and will be taking all necessary action.”
