One more thing, EVERYONE doesn’t agree with Prejean. And the passage of demeaning laws/resolutions to hinder your fellow man have been happening with less and less margin of victory.
It isn’t a universal wish to do so, only in fearful people’s minds. I still haven’t had one single opponent of same sex marriage adequately explain how another couple’s happiness remotely impacts theirs, especially if you ask them to explain it leaving out the religion part, and only sticking to the emotional side. Can’t be done, because it doesn’t. Besides, it’s unlawful. A singular belief system/religious precedent has no place in determining law for ALL citizens what a law should be. Not all are members of the same belief, but ALL are free citizens of this country. The law should be equal to all. No gay marriage, no straight marriage, either. Perhaps your marriage would offend me and risk my children’s well being. Think about that.

And who’s version of the Bible are we to follow? The politically correct one, where pronouns are replaced? The one with the Apochrypha for the Catholics? The Kings James for the not? The Revised where women are still less than men? The supposed original where it was okay to own slaves, sleep with your sister in law to get a child, have a mistress and a wife? Cut of a hand if offends you, gouge out the eye that commits adultery through looking? Which one?

Or should it be the spirit of the God, that simple says love one another as you would love yourself.

I know which “law” my heart chooses.

There is a distinct difference between faith and religion. Faith is belief and love, respect. Religion is manmade, a need to belong. Woe is God’s heart for all the horror committed in his name.

Y’all can quote alll you want now; you may have read “your” Bible but you haven’t “seen” what it means.

I think she is right. The bible says that homosexualty is an abomination in the eyes of God. Secondly there are over 90 Million people in the US alon that are Christians and believe this also. let alone all of the Christians around the world and by consertative estimates ther are over a billion people that are christian.
