Jon Voight And Angelina Jolie Reconcile

Jon Voight has confirmed that he and his daughter, Angelina Jolie, have mended the bridge between them and are once again speaking.

The two don’t talk regularly, so we shouldn’t expect any daddy daughter mini-golf tournaments any time soon. But they have at least been in contact.

According to a source close to Angie, the two began speaking in February. She made the first move, and they have spoken on and off ever since.

“Brad [Pitt] has been supportive – a key factor in her reaching out,” the source said.

Voight and Angelina have always had a rocky relationship, but it was in 2001, after he made a public appeal to Angelina to get some help for what he called a ‘severe mental illness’, that she severed ties.
