Kevin Spacey and partner spark Twitter feud

Clearly no fan of reality shows, Kevin Spacey has now started a spat that is proving the breathtaking lack of both IQ and maturity that is shared by its stars.
Speaking at Sunday’s ‘Stella Artois Short Film Award’ in New York, Kevin thanked a crowd which included such talents as John Stamos, Gina Gershon and Jeff Goldblum, then turned his attention to another group;
“Clearly, the most remarkable pair we have present are the Real Housewives of New York City,” Spacey joked, referring to Alex McCord and her ‘Real Housewives’ co-star, Ramona Singer.
But Alex’s husband, Simon Van Kempen who appears in the show got his briefs in a serious bunch over what he claims was a snub, “Alex had to physically hold Simon back from getting in Kevin’s face later on,” said a spy. “He was completely livid.”
Yeah, right — He was so overcome with manly aggression and the need for redress, his own wife could restrain him.
But it’s now four days later and the Daily News is reporting he’s still in a snit; Since the big night on Sunday, Van Kempen has called Kevin’s comments, ‘derogatory’ and in a tweet whose maturity would shame a third-grader he quickly shifted the blame for this petulant pose,
“Neither of us made a speech referencing to those in attendance & disdainfully referenced Real Housewives,” he whined.
Meanwhile, back with the grown-ups, Kevin and his production partner, Dana Brunetti are loving the vibe; On his flight back to L.A, Brunetti told his feathery fans that this ‘fight’ was a joke; “I love that I’m at 30,000 feet and having a Twitter battle with a Real Housewife??” he tweeted.
But Van Kempen did not let it lie, “If this dialogue continues, it can do so off Twitter.” he said, clearly trying to sound mean.
…Only with his wife’s kind permission, I’d bet!
