Jon Gosselin now facing court time in TLC suit

Reality is all about drama, and TLC is prepping a real tear-jerker for Jon Gosselin if latest reports are believed.
The cable channel filed a suit in a Maryland court on October 16, alleging that Jon is in breach of his contract, and now Jon and most of his circle are being dragged into court to respond.
Yesterday, TLC’s legal eagles, Williams & Connolly, a Washington law firm with a sharp reputation for inquisitive tactics were granted numerous additional motions allowing them to not only put Jon’s current friend, Hailey Glassman under oath, but also his bodyguard, Thomas Meinelt, Michael Lohan [yes, that one] both of Jon’s lawyers and close friend Matthew Kirschner.
In the suit, TLC is alleging that Jon breached his exclusive contract with them by making extra cash on the side, and the people at Williams and Connolly have been busily digging up dirt ever since, so Radar claims. His lawyers will be quizzed about those extra paydays, and Hailey will have to reveal what she knows of his income as well.
Meanwhile, Michael Lohan is on record as saying Jon was shopping a new reality starring them both, and if Jon got a paycheck or retainer for that, he’s now got a serious problem.
But the real star is due to be Thomas Meinelt, Jon’s minder — his knowledge of Jon’s financial affairs is thought to be huge and TLC’s legal goons will do everything short of grill him under hot lights to get to the truth that could win them the case.
And just to add spice, now his lawyers have been summoned as witnesses, they cannot have Jon as a client. So he now has to use an entirely new firm that has no vague idea of his financial life…Ain’t that a peach?
A date for the court case is still up in the air, but once it emerges we’ll let you know…
