Katie Price’s son hospitalized in swine-flu scare

A knee-jerk reaction to swine flu has nearly crippled this country, but we’re not alone – Katie Price’s son, Harvey, is now suspected of having the bug.
Eight-year old Harvey – Kate’s son from a brief liaison with soccer player, Dwight Yorke in 2002 – was admitted to East Surrey Hospital in the south-eastern town of Redhill last night, and Kate and ex-husband Pete Andre are at his bedside.
The 31-year old model is said to be ‘deeply concerned’ about the risks to her child, “Katie is frantic. You would assess a normal child at home, but in Harvey’s case he has to go to hospital,” said her spokesman.
Swine flu is very risky for those under 14, and doctors are concerned that Harvey [seen here,] who is both partially sighted and severely autistic, may not respond well to treatment. Kate has now been told he’ll need to remain in the unit for at least 48-hours while assessments are made.
Booked to turn on Christmas lights at a big London store, Pete canceled that gig to watch over Harvey. But from what friends are saying, this could all be a self-serving ploy by Ms. Price; “It’s the first time they’ve met since the divorce” a source tells The Sun. “And that’s something Kate’s been wanting for ages.”
But Pete is no fool, “This is just about Harvey for Pete, not Jordan,” a close friend assures us.
There’s no word as yet on Harvey’s condition, but we’ll let you know if this ‘flu’ gets confirmed.
